Last week, several Midas Gold employees were able to attend the annual Northwest Mining Association (now the American Exploration & Mining Association or AEMA) conference in Reno, Nevada. Chris Dail, Bryan Hardel, and Colter Bennett manned the “Core Shack” while engineering and public relations staff attended short courses and technical sessions, and saw many old and new friends on the floor of the exhibit hall.
The Stibnite Gold Project was mentioned prominently in several of the technical sessions, including the Idaho State Report by Virginia Gillerman of the Idaho Geological Survey. As usual, Anne Labelle, Vice President of Legal & Sustainability, represented Midas Gold at the AEMA Board of Trustees meeting.
